Smoke and Fire Events is thrilled to unveil the first-ever World Butcher Wars Challenge, set to take place at the prestigious Ascot Racecourse on July 20th and 21st. This landmark competition will gather over 28 of the globe’s finest butchers, hailing from diverse nations including Japan and Tonga, all competing for the coveted title of the first Butcher Wars World Champion.

The World  Butcher Wars Challenge is not just a competition; it’s a celebration of the art and science of butchery. Participants will be tasked with breaking down a half lamb and a half saddle of pork within 30-minute rounds, aiming to craft a show-stopping counter display. Judges will evaluate each round based on several criteria: appearance, butchery skills, food safety, creativity, wastage, health and safety, and the overall appeal of the final display.

Adding to the excitement, the finest cuts from the competition will be featured on our “Feast from the Fire” stage. Here, award-winning fire chefs will transform these selections into extraordinary dishes for our audience to savour, bridging the gap between traditional butchery and culinary excellence.
