NCB Product Awards 2026: Gold, Silver and Bronze winners announced
Going for Gold, Silver or Bronze: National Craft Butchers announces first 2026 Product Awards winners
After an intense two-day competition that saw entries rise by 36%, National Craft Butchers has revealed the winners of the coveted bronze, silver and gold awards in its national competition.
Over forty butchery businesses altogether submitted over 300 of their finest products for an expert judging panel to evaluate at the competition, held at Harper Adams University from 3rd & 4th September.
Keith Fisher, fourth-generation Master Butcher and Fellow of the Institute of Meat, led the 12-strong judging panel. A formidable team of industry experts joined him, including NCB President Richard Douglas; Scottish National Craft Butchers President Laura Black; The Craft Bakers Association President Elect Duncan Hindley; and representatives from across the industry.
Winners can now display their certificates in their shops and use the digital badge showing their product’s gold, silver or bronze status across digital and social channels.

National Craft Butcher’s Managing Director, Eleanor O’Brien commenting on the awards said,
‘It’s fantastic to see the awards becoming more and more popular – and testimony both to the quality of the products being made by our members and their pride and confidence in those products. We know that award wins give a real boost to businesses, so I’d urge all winners, whether in receipt of a bronze, silver or gold award, to proudly promote your award winning products.’

In line with the competition rules, gold award-winning products are re-judged to decide which will be crowned category champions across the 12 categories. The countdown is now on to discover which gold award-winning products will take the top titles in each category. Category champions will be presented their awards in their shops on 12th & 13th October.
