Calling All Butchers & Charcuterie Makers

International Cheese & Dairy Awards (ICAD) Cheese Board Awards 2024

The ‘Cheeseboard Awards’ celebrates everything that goes with Cheese, covering everything from biscuits, to chutney, to chocolate. But for Butchers and Charcuterie makers, these awards hold a special opportunity to showcase your products if you make air cured hams, salami, snacking charcuterie, Pâté, rillettes, potted meats, and so much more.

To be held on  27th June 2024 at the Staffordshire Show Ground, the Cheese awards attract over 5,000 entries from across the world. Now the aim of the ICAD is for the ‘Cheeseboard Awards’ to grow to the same size and stature as the ICDA’s. To be seen by retailers and consumers as the leading award in the industry supporting  food producers in the UK.

Categories to enter for cured meats include:

  • Charcuterie – Cured, Air-Dried & Ready to Eat Meat Products
  • Charcuterie – Cured and Cooked Meat Products
  • Charcuterie – Cured, Fermented & Air Dried Ready to Eat Sausage Products
  • Charcuterie – Soft & Spreadable Products – Pates, Parfaits, Potted meats etc
  • Charcuterie – Snacking Charcuterie

If you make chutneys, pickles, crackers and biscuits, the judges want to hear from you as well.

All entries must we presented in in branded packaging and must be commercially available.

How to Enter

Entry Fees are competitively priced at £12.50+vat per entry. Award winners can display the logo on their packaging.

These awards provide the opportunity to be associated with an award that supports UK producers from the start. Retailers support the awards and see them as an extension of the ICDA’s and opportunity to upsell to consumers through cheese and accompaniment association.
