British Butchery Shines at Inaugural British Butchery Awards
The finest talent in British butchery was celebrated in style last night (Monday 30th June) as National Craft Butchers hosted the first-ever British Butchery Awards at a glittering black-tie ceremony at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel. WIth guest host Phil Vickery MBE.
Bringing together leading figures from across the meat industry – from master butchers and young butchers to independent shop owners and suppliers – the event marked a major milestone for the sector, shining a spotlight on the innovation, and the enduring value of traditional butchery skills in a modern market.
The sold-out evening saw winners crowned across a range of hotly contested categories, recognising excellence across the country.

All finalist businesses received an independent mystery shop as part of the judging process, Keith Fisher member of the judging panel commented “ the level of entries and finalists was exceptional making the role of judging incredibly difficult, congratulations to all the winners”.
Eleanor O’Brien, Managing Director of National Craft Butchers, praised the winners and the butchery community as a whole:

The British Butchery Awards are set to return in 2027.
