British Butchery Awards Finalists Announced!

National Craft Butchers is thrilled to announce the finalists for the upcoming British Butchery Awards, a prestigious event dedicated to recognizing the finest talents in the butchery industry.

The British Butchery Awards are a celebration of the craftsmanship, skill, and dedication within the butchery industry, showcasing the finest talents across the United Kingdom. Organised by National Craft Butchers and supported by Institute of Meat, Scottish Craft Butchers, and the Q Guild the awards are run by industry for the benefit of the industry.

Each finalist in these awards has been successful in proving their commitment to service, sustainability, the wider industry, and butchery within their businesses.

Eleanor O’Brien, Managing Director of National Craft Butchers, expressed the organization’s enthusiasm: ‘We are blessed with some of the most talented butchers in the world. The British Butchery Awards offers them the chance to have their moment in the limelight and be recognised by their fellow butchers.’

Entries were invited for the title of Best Large & Small Butchery Business in regions throughout the UK, including Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, North of England, South of England, and the Midlands. Plus, nominations for Best Young Butcher and our Special Recognition Award.

Each finalist will now move onto the next round of judging involving independent mystery shop visits, and further evidence gathering. Before the winners are announced at the Black-tie awards dinner held at The Belfry in Nottingham on Monday 30th June!

The evening will also see the announcement of the nation’s Best Butchery Supplier, along with the Special Recognition Award.
