Fresh from winning Meat Management Magazine’s Training Provider of the Year 2025, Plumpton College kicks off its centenary year with the Plumpton Butchery Showcase & Meat Product Awards, celebrating innovation and excellence in the meat industry.
This year’s theme, “Innovation in Product Development,” brings together leading ingredient manufacturers and suppliers for talks, demonstrations, and tastings – helping butchers discover the most popular and profitable products for their businesses.
With today’s customers seeking adventurous, restaurant-quality meals that are quick and affordable, the Showcase offers butchers practical ideas to expand their range of oven-ready dishes and meet growing demand.
Attendees can enjoy live demos, networking opportunities, and a complimentary supper with drinks. Plumpton College are delighted to welcome Graham Yandell MBE F.Inst.M, publisher of Meat Management Magazine, who will open the event and share insights from his decades observing the industry.
The ever-popular Meat Product Awards return, attracting entries nationwide, alongside an exciting new highlight: the presentation of the Plumpton College Butcher of the Year trophy.
