NCB Members visit Corporate Member Innovative Food Ingredients
On 29th September a group of NCB members headed to Lancashire to visit Innovative Food Ingredients. Starting our visit with a warm welcome and an introduction to the IFI team. Chantelle Brennand gave some of the history of the business followed with a quick look at the warehouse where many member orders will be picked and packed!


The group then settled in for product tasting and demonstrations, with Senior National Account manager Peter Rushforth taking members through a mixture of sides and mains that butchers could feature in their counters. Plenty of discussion followed as butchers tasted and compared notes!
After an engrossing and filling day the group enjoyed dinner together in Lytham St Annes before heading out on Tuesday for some shop visits, first up Gigli’s Butchers and Bistro who were able to highlight how some of the previous day’s products feature in their shops. Before heading over to Honeywell’s Farm Shop, with a warm welcome from John Gornall the group were lucky enough to have a full back area tour before trying some of their bestselling sausage rolls and spending time on the shop floor.


The whole group had a great trip and left with lots of ideas, enthusiasm and thanks for NCB and IFI organising the trip!
