NCB Product Awards 2025: Celebrating Craft Butchery Excellence for the Third Year
The wait is over! The National Craft Butcher Product Awards are back for their third year, ready to celebrate the finest talents in craft butchery. With a spotlight on innovation, tradition, and creativity, these awards continue to honour the dedication and skill of butchers across England and Wales.
This year, the awards feature nine exciting categories, offering opportunities for both traditional artisans and forward-thinking innovators to shine. Competitors can showcase their expertise in: Traditional Sausage, Innovative Sausage, Cold Eating Pie, Hot Eating Pie, Traditional Bacon, Innovative Bacon, Traditional Black Pudding, Best 30-Minute Meal, and Best Game Product. Whether you excel at perfecting age-old recipes or crafting inventive new creations, there’s a category for you.
Key Entry Information
The entry fee for the awards is £45+VAT per product, but there’s good news for early birds! Submit your entry by 30th July to take advantage of the reduced early bird fee of £35+VAT. Don’t miss this chance to save while securing your place in the competition.
Judging Day at Harper Adams University
Judging Day is set for 4th September 2025 at the renowned Harper Adams University. On judging day, a panel of experts will carefully review the entries to maintain the high standard of the awards. This year, the judges will again select their ‘Judge’s Choice Award’, a special recognition for an entry that truly stands out to the judging panel for its exceptional quality and innovation.
Head Judge, Keith Fisher, shared his enthusiasm,
‘This competition is always an incredible showcase of the talent and passion within our industry. We can’t wait to see what exciting products will appear on the judging tables this year.’
NCB President, David Gigli, encouraged participants to enter,

- Wednesday 30th July: Deadline for the early bird entry fee
