Spring BBQ Competition 2019

The BBQ competition was held at Eastwood Hall as part of the NCB Spring Roadshow on Tuesday 30th March.

The day saw 33 independent butchers compete with 276 entries from sausages, burgers, steaks and kebabs to marinated and flexitarian products.

All products were cooked on the day to provide judges with the authentic BBQ eating experience.

After which there was delight from the 9 category winners as well as the recipient of the Innovative BBQ Product and Champion BBQ Product of the day.

Additionally, a total of 134 Gold, 85 Silver and 37 Bronze awards being presented for products achieving the required standard.
